A call for IoT manifestos, standards, guidelines and best practices

IoT technologies can solve problems but they can also cause problems with data, privacy, security, usability, user experience, etc. We are interested in how developers make decisions about their approaches to development and their design considerations. We are particularly interested in references you use when you are negotiating questions of ethics and responsibility in the development of IoT solutions.

What guides you if you are in doubt about ethics or responsibility when designing your solutions?

We invite you to share with us things like manifestos, guidelines, checkslists, standards, best practices, laws, sayings, notes from your favourite teacher, post-it notes on your computer screen or anything else that inspires, guides and supports you in the process of developing IoT technologies.
Help us understand how you make your decisions, and what supports you in your practice!

Thank you for participating!
